Leon was born to holocaust survivors, David and Bela, in 1946 Berlin, Germany. He came to the United States when he was 4 years old. He had 2 sisters. He was a Vietnam Vet. on the aircraft carrier USS Boxer. Was married to Sara Roches for 50 years and together they had 4 daughters and 10 grandchildren. He passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 70.
